Welcome to the wonderful world of chemistry. It is important that your child be in class every day. If they must be absent, you can access the class schedule by clicking on “Weekly Schedule”. Please make sure parents call in to excuse the absence ON THE SAME DAY, so work will be counted for credit.
When students return to class, it is their responsibility to turn in any work that was due on the date of the absence. Students receive one day for every day they are absent to make up any work, including taking any tests that were missed. As most of the information comes from me and not a textbook, it is very important that students attend class every day. Your grades are available on line weekly. They are updated Friday afternoons and include grades accumulated through Friday. Make sure you do not give anyone, except your parents, your password. Click on Check Grade Online.
Absent make up points for this week: Honors: None Regular: None Print the Weekly schedule page, write the correct answer on it and staple that to your log.
