   - Most titles on this list focus on supporting the science curriculum.
   - Includes Macmillan Dictionary for Children (2007)- 30 copies per school.
   - Includes World Almanac for Kids 2009 - 30 copies per school.
   - Includes American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language - 4th Edition
   - Atlas will be selected in August.
   - Grand Canyon 2009 award nominees have been added
      - non-fiction, picture books, intermediate
   - There will be an additional list in August which will include classics and
      popular titles.

Grolier Publishing - Sole Source

- Nature's Children - 8 sets
- Amazing Animals - 3 sets
- Children's encylopedia - 2 sets for class instruction and atlas for    instruction - Selection will be made in the fall.
