Accelerated Reader (AR) is a nationally recognized reading practice program used at Desert Canyon Elementary. Books that match these titles are books that may be found in public libraries, classroom libraries, home libraries, book stores, or the school library. Most Desert Canyon classroom libraries and the school library have AR books leveled for students. AR
is not a complete reading program nor is it proven that reading
