Important Dates

This is my third year at Cherokee and I love the students, parents and all the teachers at Cherokee.   Here’s what we’re working on in music this year!

Kindergarten – we’re working on keeping the steady beat/rhythm.

1^st Grade – we’re reviewing steady beat/rhythm and also working on pitches.

2^nd Grade – CONGRATULATIONS on a wonderful performance on October 9th!

3^rd Grade – CONGRATULATIONS on a fantastic performance on January 24^th!

4^th & 5^th Grade Chorus – sight-reading, building healthy vocal techniques, getting ready for our winter concert

4^th Grade General Music – getting students exposed to different kind of world music.

5^th Grade General Music – Music History and rhythm/note value
