YOU MISSED THE FINAL (OR PART OF THE FINAL), THE MAKE-UP WILL BE HELP DURING
SCHOOL ON TUESDAY, MAY 27TH (PROBABLY 2ND PERIOD
SINCE 8TH GRADE IS ON A SPECIAL SCHEDULE). THERE WILL BE NO
MAKE-UP ON WEDNESDAY SINCE ALL 8TH GRADE TEACHERS AND
STUDENTS WILL BE OFF CAMPUS. Morning help sessions
are posted on the homework calendar for each of the subjects that I teach. Please
check nightly for changes. Most current information will be given IN CLASS! This web page serves the purpose of supporting the information that is written in your student agenda. Please check the
“special announcements” on this webpage for breaking news… Any
Algebra I student who is interested in taking Geo/Trig Honors next year at
Chaparral, the testing for placement is being offered on Thursday, February 7th
OR Friday, February 8th at 4:00 in the
Chaparral HS library. Please bring several sharpened pencils. (NO calculators).
The test will take one hour. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs.
Cohen at CHS (math chair) (480) 484-6500 ext. 5105 or Bcohen@susd.org. It is best
to take the test even if you are unsure if you want to take honors classes. If
you are planning on attending a private high school, it is also a good idea to
take the test just in case you decide to attend a Scottsdale high school next
