Pre-algebra classes: Thursday, April 17^th:

Due to the unexpected events on campus Wednesday, I am extending the review for the quiz in class TODAY. Therefore, the quiz scheduled for today will be help tomorrow, Friday, April 18^th.

 

Algebra One Students- Tuesday, January 22^nd lunch review for 7.1-7.4

 

Any Algebra I student with the score below a 70% C should plan on attending a lunch review session on Tuesday from 12:55 – 1:30. Please bring your lunch (it will be easiest for you if you pack so you don’t have to wait in the lunch line). We will be reviewing your quiz problem by problem to help you understand your mistakes. This is critical for your learning in preparing for lessons 7.5 & 7.6 next week. Your next quiz will be Friday, January 25^th over lessons 7.5 & 7.6. Don’t forget to study from your homework assignments, the checkpoint quiz in the book as well as the Chp review in the book or the online review. SEE YOU TUESDAY @ LUNCH!!!

 Any Algebra I student who is interested in taking Geo/Trig Honors next year at Chaparral, the testing for placement is being offered on Thursday, February 7^th OR Friday, February 8^th at 4:00 in the Chaparral HS library. Please bring several sharpened pencils. (NO calculators). The test will take one hour. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Cohen at CHS (math chair) (480) 484-6500 ext. 5105 or Bcohen@susd.org. It is best to take the test even if you are unsure if you want to take honors classes. If you are planning on attending a private high school, it is also a good idea to take the test just in case you decide to attend a Scottsdale high school next Fall.

 

 

 

Pre-algebra Students will be taking the SAP Testing for high school placement on Thursday, January 10^th during class. Please be present!!!
