Saturday, September 16 - First Panacea event! Harkins Valley Art Theatre, 509 South Mill Ave, Tempe. "The Devil Came on Horseback - Bearing Witness to the Genocide in Sudan." This documentary features Brian Steidle, a U.S. Marine who tells the story of his experiences in Darfur. We will be meeting at Chaparral at 1:00. Please let me know if your parents can drive. Don't forget your money for the movie and lunch!

Sunday, November 4 - 12:30-4:00: Hunger Walk. We will meet at CHS at 12:30 and drive down to Eldorado Park.
Thursday, November 8 - 7:00-9:00: "Darfur Now." If you would like to attend this free movie it is playing at Camelview. This is an excellent movie!
Saturday, November 10 - 12:15 am - 3:00 pm: IRC Refugee Soccer Tournament. 3203 W. Morton Ave (31st Ave & Morton Ave, 602-262-6575). We will be setting up, providing water and snacks, and assisting in the children's area. We will meet in the CHS parking lot at 12:15.
Saturday, November 17th - 12:00 - ?: Dream for Darfur Torch Relay. Arizona State Capitol. We will be helping set up and man/run the Save Darfur tables/booths. We will meet in the CHS parking lot at 11:15. More information to follow.
Saturday, December 15th - 1:00 - 4:00: Paint cows (ceramic cows) with us at the Lost Boys Center! We will meet in the parking lot at CHS. Let us know if you can help with rides!
Sunday, December 16th - 1:15 - 3:00: Meet in back parking lot at 1:15. We will be ice skating with refugees at the Alltel Ice Den. Bring money...around $10.00. Sophie will print off coupons online. :)
Saturday, February 9th: Silent Auction for the lost boys and girls of Sudan. More information to follow.
Sunday, February 10th: Meeting at Sophie's house regarding tutoring the refugee children. More information to follow.
Every Saturday from now until the end of the school year we will meet in the English parking lot at 1:20. We will tutor the refugee children from 2 - 4:00.
