Upcoming Events:

We understand that many of you are having difficulty getting to the meetings because you don't have transportation.  Therefore, meetings are going to be held during both A and B lunches every Thursday.

Next meeting:  9/20/07 during lunch - B Lunch meet in Mrs. MacColl's room 214, A Lunch meet in room 329

October 4th - During both A and B lunch Kayla Cranston from Prescott College will speak to those interested in:  environmental, social justice, cultural, education, and human development studies.  Prescott College is an independent liberal arts college.  The College is committed to the environment and social justice.  The College encourages "learning by doing" and educates students of diverse ages and backgrounds to understand, thrive in, and enhance our world community and environment.

October 7th (Saturday) - Walk for the Cure, 5:00 am - 11:00 am.  Salt River Project, 1600 N. Priest Dr., Tempe, AZ 85281.  We will be volunteering in the following capacities:  Kid Zone, greeting, registration, water stations, medals, photographs, booth, and clean up.  They will provide us with breakfast (YUM!), snacks (YUM!), and t-shirts (YEAH!).  Be sure to wear shorts/pants and tennis shoes/sneakers.

October 10th (Wednesday) - Andre House, 213 South 11th Avenue Phoenix, AZ 85007, 3:15 - 7:30.  We will be serving dinner to the less fortunate.  Be sure to wear close toed shoes.  

October 20th (Saturday) - Desert Botanical Gardens Pumpkin Festival, 9:30 - 12:30.  We will meet at the front entrance.  We will be volunteering with the kids activities.  :)

January 12th (Saturday) - Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue, 8:00 - 12:00.  We will meet at BHRR.
