Here is a sneak peek at what we will be learning about the week of May
19th:
Language Arts
We are reviewing many concepts learned over the course of the year. A review
packet will be done in class and a basic test/quiz will be given on Thursday.
Math
We are reviewing Unit 12 again on Monday and taking our test on
Tuesday. After that, we are going to be practicing longer multiplication and
division as well as other concepts to help review the year.
Social Studies
We are finishing on our animal research projects this week. Many
students are ready to start their final draft. We will have these completed
by Thursday and present them to the class on Friday. The students have really
worked hard on this project and I am looking forward to their presentations.
Science
We will be creating our solar system display and presentation this
week. We will be sharing with the class on Friday. This project should be
very fun for the children and I am sure that they will be looking forward to
sharing their work with their classmates.
