As a Special Education Department teacher, I serve students in the Academic Learning Center who participate in the Life Skills Program. The availability of different placement options within the life skills program insures the appropriateness of an individual's educational program (IEP).
I am available to provide assistance to both students and the general education staff serving the student with disabilities in an inclusion classroom. Those students who educational needs cannot be sufficiently met with supports in the general education classroom or with resource support may be placed the LSC/ALC direct service classroom.
