ASSISTING teachers in developing classroom strategies with students whose learning skills and abilities or social/behavioral adjustments interfere with their educational progress.
CONSULTING with parents, teachers and students about school-related issues such as motivation, peer relations, study skills, and behavior management strategies.
WORKING with school specialists in planning and evaluating individual educational programs for students in need.
EVALUATING the intellectual, academic, and emotional strengths and weaknesses of students who might be eligible for special education program services per state and federal guidelines.
INTERPRETING test results related to children's individual characteristics with parents and school personnel in an effort to help everyone understand each student more fully.
