I am a teacher of students
with visual impairments. I will
be teaching at Chaparral
High School and EVIT
this year. I have taught
children with visual impairments since 1976. I also have a Masters Degree in Educational Counseling.
I serve as an itinerant
teacher to give students and teachers help and support. The basic responsibilities of the
classroom education are the classroom teacher’s. I will act as a resource person to assist in any difficulties
encountered due to the visual impairment.
My main goal is to
encourage each child to become as independent as they possibly can be.
