Hello, my name is
Alicia Majercin. This is my thirteenth year teaching at Navajo Elementary, one
of the district’s best elementary schools! I have taught first, second,
third, and fourth grade. And I also spent a year being an English as a Second
Language (ESL) resource teacher. This year I am excited to be teaching a new
program at Navajo, Read 180.
I graduated from Arizona State
University with a Bachelor of Arts
in Education and earned my Master of Arts degree in ESL Bilingual Education
from Ottawa University.
I have my ESL, Early Childhood, and Reading endorsements. I continue to take
classes in education and believe in being a life long learner.
I am married and
have with three children. So, along with teaching I enjoy the juggling of
family life.
I look forward to
working with you and your children.
