Welcome

Mathematics

With

Mrs. Bidula

Welcome to our new year!

I have left last year’s homework page on line so you can see the format. It is updated on Mondays for the upcoming week. Changes may occur in class due to understanding the concepts, and scheduling.

Classroom supplies include:

Kleenex

Dry Erase Markers

Hand Sanitizer

Colored Pencils

Regular Pencils (for forgetful students J)

We could use better scissors, so if you can donate a pair, that would be great.

Individual Supplies need to be in your backpack at all times:

Lined Paper

Two – three pencils

Red pen

Notes Folder (a folder with the center three hole bracket)

Throughout the year you will need:

Protractor

Compass

Graph Paper

Possibly a calculator for correcting formulaic homework.

                                                     See you soon!

Please remember to check your agenda.

Write down your assignments that are due,

Highlight those you have turned in.

Missing assignments are your responsibility, not grades-on-line’s responsibility.

If you are waiting for grades-on-line to know what is missing, then you are too late.

Grades-on-line is excellent for keeping up with where you are at, and checking for any mistakes (both yours and mine!).

The homework page is great for looking ahead, and checking when you’re sick.

Make sure you are still using your agenda to guarantee your success daily.

I am often in my room at lunch. Stop by with your questions.

I am available after school most afternoons for questions also.

Check with me in class if you are wanting to stop in after school and

I will tell you if I have a meeting (not very often, but they come in bunches).

Here are a few supplies you could gather:

You will be responsible for having lined paper on you at all times so stock up now while it is on sale.

Pencils, Highlighter, Notebook

Some sort of folder ( I prefer something that completely closes, and has a dedicated location for math).

Red pen, Compass, Protractor, Ruler, Scissors

The classroom is looking for donations of:

dry erase markers, and

 markers.

Other classroom wish list items:

Tissues (we can use up to a box a day in allergy season)

ALL DONATIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I will see you soon,

                                        Mrs. Bidula

It is a desire to share this enthusiasm that brought her to the math classroom.
